The video — roll, and tell us your story

One take. Your phone is fine. This is the audition: craft in your hands, a story in your mouth, both at once.
  • Roll on camera. A blunt or a cone — rolled, not stuffed into a pre-roll. No saliva; show us a clean dry seal.
  • While your hands work, tell us your life story. Where you're from, how you got here, who you are when you walk into a room.
  • Weave in two or three of these — so you always have something to talk about while you roll:
    • The first person you ever rolled for
    • Who taught you — and what they'd say about your roll today
    • The thing your friends always ask you to bring to the function
    • A place that made you who you are
    • The best night you ever hosted or served
    • A talent you have that nobody expects
  • No script, no interview questions. If you can hold a room while your hands are busy — that's the job.
